1. EVE Economic inflation is over - cheaper GTC and cheaper stuff etc - in Market Discussions [original thread]
1) The law only covers transactions within China, not transactions crossing the border. 2) Last I knew the main ISK trading hubs were not exclusively chinese. 3) Inflation has been a steady thing in EVE since launch and is not a product of ISK sal...

Edited by: Raem Civrie on 11/07/2006 17:47:11 The point is (and I hope I know what I'm talking about, I've tried my hand at this subject a few times over the years since release) that people don't necessarily seem ready to accept the value of ...

3. Idea for new business: PR Agency - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Edited by: Raem Civrie on 11/07/2006 13:06:50 Almost, but not quite. EVE doesn't seem ready for a full-scale PR agency *just yet*, reason being that "branding" hasn't quite caught on yet. You have Nagamazon, EMFi, BIG and Omber Zombie. That's ...

6. Currin Trading - in Market Discussions [original thread]
If it was a scam, it was a worthy one. This was my fourth investment to date, and while I technically lost 720m isk, I haven't even been around for two months and I originally put in around 350m (each time putting in again exactly what I got out)...

7. (#1 - 2006.02) BMBE Shareholder Report - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Previous poster nailed it right on the head. It'd mostly be HAC's and other t2 ships, or faction ships that I would broker in if I needed money, things that would not be easily replaced after I get money again. --- Chairman of the Ice Mining Guild

8. 1400mm "COFFIN NAIL" - Does this gun really exist? - in Market Discussions [original thread]
It's a joke. In the days of yore, the 1400mm was the alpha and omega of long-range damage, and as such it was sometimes nicknamed the "coffin nail", because it often delivered the final blow. Hence, sealed the coffin.

11. Looking for Sig. Maker... - in Market Discussions [original thread]
It depends alot on the quality and what you are willing to pay. I could put you in contact with an associate of mine, but it would not be cheap (persistent price hovers around 10 mil). Previous work includes Stavros' and ðiscorp's sigs

12. Stocks & Shares - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Manual buying and selling is possible. There have been attempts at creating an out-of-game system for the distribution of stocks and monitoring value, but that failed. "Cashing in" is also quite possible. You just have to find willing buyers.

14. Open letter to GM's/Dev's about Tech 2 - in Market Discussions [original thread]
First of all, don't expect this to be easy. I kinda get the feeling that alot of people that won in the lottery thought "w000t! INSTAPROFITS!". Now, instead of actually scouring the market, try finding individual suppliers. For example, I hoard al...

15. Xanadu Tech II market - in Market Discussions [original thread]
I find that kinda funny, because in a recent historical perspective, it was more common for the japanese to ruin american businesses by undercutting prices and looking at long-term profits. So much for the racial similarities to the real world, eh?

17. The Ultimate Missile BP Set, 24 Missiles! - in Market Discussions [original thread]
*ahem* Shield Systems are most resistant to kinetic damage, TRUE. But armour and hull isn't. Hell, I'd rather bet on a explosive/kinetic missile once the shield is down than any EM or thermal missile. I, for example, often used combinations of Bl...
